About Markie

20+ Years of Accounting Experience, Now Serving You Directly

Hi, I'm Markie Antle — founder of Go Fig Bookz. I started my accounting career in 1997 and spent over two decades working my way up from junior bookkeeper to Controller for a mid-sized marketing agency.

Along the way I was General Manager of an optical distribution company — running the entire operation, from distribution to the books, out of my home office for three years while raising my daughter. Remote bookkeeping before it had a name.

I studied accounting at Humber College and Ryerson University, and I've worked with businesses across retail, hospitality, construction, professional services, and real estate.

Today, I run Go Fig Bookz to give small business owners the same high-quality financial control that big companies enjoy — without the big-company price tag. I work with clients across Canada and the United States, all 100% cloud-based.
